Moomin Arabia Snorkmaiden Moomin bowl, Purple Hot

Snorkmaiden purple Moomin bowl. The designs on the bowl are taken from the comic strip Moomin on the Riviera from 1955. Snorkmaiden and Moominpappa dream of a luxury life on the Riviera which results in the entire Moomin family sailing to France. Along the way, they encounter several mishaps and misunderstandings. The attention-seeking Snorkmaiden likes to be at the centre and, thanks to her charm, manages to win at the casino. With the money, she buys a bikini. The design on one side of the bowl shows Snorkmaiden trying on a bikini for the first time. On the other side of the bowl, we see Snorkmaiden attempting to find a suitable spot on her nose to apply the lipstick she acquired on the trip. The story depicts how Snorkmaiden combines femininity and vanity with courage and resourcefulness. The Snorkmaiden purple Moomin bowl is designed by Tove Slotte based on Tove Jansson’s original drawings and is part of Moomin Arabia’s Moomin Classics collection. The mugs, bowls, and plates with Moomin designs are popular collector’s items that are often combined with each other and with other Moomin ceramics from Moomin Arabia.
